eCommerce:- The ability to conduct business and gain revenue over the internet. An eCommerce company creates, (and sometimes hosts) an application by designing web pages to include global payment systems, fraud detection systems, multi tax initiatives and often with auto foreign language components as well. The eCommerce company can also become involved in the entire logistics process to the extent of sourcing through to the distribution centre and out to the consumer’s premises.

eProcurement:- An eProcurement solution is where all of a Company’s purchase needs may be sourced from their agreed on-line suppliers at pre-agreed prices. The application is hosted on the internet normally by the eProcurement provider.

eInvoicing and eBilling – eInvoicing is when a company receives their invoice data electronically from their supplier in the data format expected by the buyer. Whilst eBilling is where the seller of products/services would send all their invoices out to their suppliers electronically. 

Remote Systems management:- Enterprise systems where remote workforce or electronic devices may access HQ special servers and download data after a pre-recorded request.

BI (Business Intelligence): - Statistical analysis of databases using either pie chart styled software tools or creating list building reports.
